Tulis komentarSatu hal yang sangat penting yang sering diabaikan pengguna Open Source, seperti Anda (dan saya), adalah Free Software. Anda pengguna Open Source, mungkin bisa dibilang hampir semua orang Open Source pemula, melupakan Free Software. Salah satu tandanya adalah ketidakmampuan membedakan Free Software dan Open Source. Tanda lain yang bisa dirasakan sendiri adalah saya yakin Anda pasti jarang membaca http://gnu.org. Ya, memang mayoritas orang (atau mungkin semuanya, termasuk saya sendiri) Indonesia adalah orang Open Source. Kita tidak membantah kenyataan itu, tetapi hendaklah jangan lupakan asal muasal semua Open Source, yaitu Free Software.
